A batch search engine submission program used for search engine positioning and web marketing. This program is now obsolete partly because it is MacOS 8/9 only and partly because this form of automated web positioning is no longer effective due to historical changes in the way search engines work.
For search engine positioning purposes it is sufficient to manually submit your site to the principal search engines such as Google and maybe to the principal directories such as DMOZ and Yahoo. A frequently updated web site will be noticed by Google and recrawled by the GoogleBot once a week. Good informative keyword-laden text combined with forward and reverse connectivity to important web sites is the key to gettting a good ranking on Google. |
