Custom educational software development
Faraday R&D is a key member of the typeSmart Team, particularly in the areas of C++/C, MacOS X, PHP/MySQL, Javascript and hybrid CD production. Faraday R&D cannot take the credit for the original software design and development. Its role was to update the code for the new version and in particular to convert the program so that it was compatible with MacOS X. The program is written in c and c++ using the Metrowerks Codewarrior development environment.
Custom educational web development
Faraday R&D also converted the original ETPM FileMaker Pro-based student management system so that is now web-based and is implemented using MySQL/PHP.
Faraday R&D also had a hand in the Javascript/PHP coding for the eText typeSmart web site.
